Originally published on June, 20, 2019. The first edition of Spectrum comes to Nice Guys Beer & Pizza Lounge on June 22. The event serves as a live-art exhibit and queer experimental showcase including drag performances and musical acts. Spectrum aims to foster the development of safe spaces and performance venues for all of the LGBTQ community to connect, unwind, network and get inspired. We’ll meet the event’s creator and drag performer Ava Garden. We’ll also hear a live in-studio performance from Spectrum featured musician and visual artist Duke Stamina and hear recorded selections from his upcoming new album.
