Guitarist John Housley a new Flamenco album and discusses his time with the 80s-era electro band Cybotron

Southwest Florida-based award-winning multi-faceted guitarist and music educator John Housley has released his fourth album of original music in the Flamenco Nuevo style titled, “Reflecting in Blue.” This follows his previous Flamenco Nuevo albums “Peaceful Moments” in 2020, “A Dance of Ghosts” in 2019 and “The Heart’s Furnace” in 2018. We’ll hear selections from Housley’s new album and explore the life-long musician’s experience in other genres including classic rock, progressive metal, and his time with the 1980s-era electro band Cybotron. The band’s pioneering music remains highly influential and helped usher in the techno genre.
