Sanibel Poet Joe Pacheco’s New Book, “Sanibel Joe’s Songbook”

Former New York City School Superintendent, poet, and Sanibel resident Joe Pacheco is out with his third volume of poetry titled, “Sanibel Joe’s Songbook.”

Regarded by many as the unofficial ‘poet laureate’ of Sanibel, his works includes musings on life today in Southwest Florida, take readers back in time to his earlier days in New York City and include plenty of social and political satire.  We’ll talk with Pacheco about what’s inspired his third volume of poetry and hear some selected works.
