Glenn Miller spent 25 years as a staff writer for the Fort Myers News-Press, and several more as a freelance writer, before releasing his first novel in November 2016. The novel, "Grabmore" from Martin Sisters Publishing, calls on his experiences living, working, and writing in Southwest Florida.

"I like to consider Southwest Florida as important as any of the characters," Miller said. "I have events taking place in downtown Fort Myers, Terry Park, the Rod & Gun Club in Everglades City, and Chokoloskee."

Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. on Gulf Coast Live, Miller talks about his experiencing writing, reporting, and telling stories about Southwest Florida. He'll also discuss how he mixes the story of his first novel with local history.
