Getting Back to Work: a Virtual Job Fair and CARES Act Child Care Assistance
With the looming end to federal subsidies for unemployment, people who have been laid off, let go, or otherwise put out of work by business closures may be looking to dive back into the job pool. We’ll talk with Janeth Castrejon from CareerSource of Southwest Florida to learn more about Thursday's on-line event.
And- with a return to the workplace and school up in the air for many- child care becomes a more pressing concern. We’ll talk with the United Way of Lee County about a Cares-act funded program that will help people to afford a place for their kids or grandkids as they head back to work.
