Thunderstorms redeveloped overnight very close to the center of Invest 93, and if this trend continues it will likely be classified as a depression or tropical storm later today. Not much has changed in the overall forecast for this tropical development, with most reliable forecast models still indicating a tropical storm approaching the Lesser Antilles this weekend and potentially moving closer to the Bahamas early next week. As with any newly developed system, though, forecast confidence remains low and there is still plenty of time to watch what becomes of Invest 93.
