An Ohio man is facing a possible life prison sentence after pleading guilty to the Halloween armed robbery of a Fort Myers bank.Grant Elmore Davis, Jr. , 71, of Mansfield, Ohio, entered a guilty plea Wednesday to charges of armed bank robbery, discharging a firearm during and in relation to a crime of violence, and possessing a firearm and ammunition as a convicted felon. A sentencing date has not been set.

Former Cape Coral resident Devin Ryan Maresca will serve a three-year federal prison sentence for mail fraud and aggravated identity theft.Maresca, 33, was sentenced Tuesday by Senior U.S. District Judge Virginia Hernandez Covington. As part of his sentence, the court also entered an order of forfeiture in the amount of $74,700, which were the proceeds of Maresca’s mail fraud scheme.
