Phillip DePoy is a prolific novelist, poet, and playwright. He was nominated for a Shamus Award for a book in his popular Flap Tucker series, and received the prestigious Edgar Award for a 2002 mystery play titled “Easy.” Though he is based in Atlanta, Georgia, he has just released “Cold Florida,” first in a new series set in a fictional town somewhere near Tampa.
