The White House’s coronavirus task force stressed a new Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommendation to cancel gatherings of 50 or more people in a press conference Monday morning.The White House also says more COVID-19 testing kits will be available this week, allowing for widespread testing.
This comes as schools and businesses close across the country, keeping the markets in a nosedive. The Federal Reserve cut interest rates again this weekend in an attempt to bolster the economy, but markets still plummeted at the opening bell.
