COVID-19 Cases in Lee County Stack Up

The number of COVID-19 cases in Lee County has reached 12,906, with 232 deaths, as of July 20, according to the Florida Department of Health. The median age of people contracting the disease in the county is 41, with slightly more women than men getting sick. More than 93,000 people in the county have been tested, and 14 percent of them have been positive, which is higher than the national average, which is just over 11 percent.
