The national census will end on October 31, as previously planned, and not on October 5, the AP reports. The Census Bureau had previously announced an early end to the census, in violation of a judge's injunction. The federal judge issued an order Thursday, October 1, instructing the U.S. Census Bureau to text every 2020 census worker to let them know that this year's count will continue through the end of October. The mass text was also to include the fact that people can still complete their census questionnaires through October 31st.
