The Charlotte County Sheriff’s office this morning arrested one of its own—Charlotte County deputy David Motz—for aggravated stalking. He is being held without bail in Charlotte County jail. The complainant, whom Motz previously had a relationship with, alleges that Motz had pursued, harassed, and threatened them for some time, according to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s office. Motz has been placed on administrative leave without pay, pending the completion of an administrative investigation.
