The role that Gainesville-area Pastor Terry Jones may have had in contributing to the violence in the Libya attacks is just one thing that the U.S. government is trying to determine.
Jones said he would consider yesterday's request by the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff's to not post the video Innocence of Muslims, but later he put it up on YouTube.
Victor Gonzalez is a freelance reporter for Miami News Times who was at the Gainesville-area compound on Tuesday to interview Jones about his candidacy for President when the news was breaking about the attacks.
"I don't think he expected to play as big a role as he has, in this whole mess," Gonzalez said. "He's gonna roll with it, because it does allow him to get his overall, his general message, which is hate."
