Several hundred people, including many students, demonstrated in downtown Fort Myers, both on Friday evening and then on Saturday afternoon. Both events remained peaceful. On last Wednesday’s show we talked with a group of leaders in the local black community to get their perspective on what’s happening right now in this country, with so many people raising their voices against police violence, particularly toward people of color. Today we’re joined by a panel of local students of color to get their perspective on the growing protest movement.
