But a new documentary screening at Florida Gulf Coast UniversityThursday, Apr. 6 at 7 p.m. hopes to show how a new generation of North Korean millennialsare challenging the nation's ruling elite and may be the country's best hope for change.
Thursday at 1:30 p.m., FGCU Rescue Team president Tatiana Galdamez joins the program to discuss the screening of "The Jangmadang Generation"and the work of North Korea-focused nonprofit Liberty in North Korea.
