5 Detainees Ordered Released From Guantanamo
A federal judge in Washington has ordered the Bush administration to release five detainees from the prison camp at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. The men have been held there for seven years on evidence the judge finds insufficient. The ruling is the first by a trial judge since the Supreme Court declared in June that the Guantanamo prisoners have the right to challenge their detentions in U.S. courts.

Obama To Order Guantanamo Closed Within A Year
President Barack Obama is expected to sign an executive order Thursday closing the Guantanamo Bay detention center within a year and stopping military trials of terror suspects held there. Thousands of cases of deodorant ordered recalled by manufacturer
Tens of thousands of cases of deodorant have been recalled by the manufacturer, a report from the Federal Food and Drug Administrations says.The recall by manufacturer A.P. Deauville affects more than 67,000 cases of 1.8 ounce versions of "power fresh"-scented Power Stick for Her Roll-On Antiperspirant Deodorant, "spring fresh"-scented Power Stick Invisible Protection Roll-On Antiperspirant Deodorant and Power Stick Original Nourishing Invisible Protection Roll-On Antiperspirant Deodorant.
Saddam Ordered to Hang for Deaths in Iraqi Village
Saddam Hussein and two co-defendants were sentenced Sunday to death by hanging for their role in the deaths of 148 villagers from the town of Dujail, where torture and executions followed a failed assassination attempt on Saddam in 1982.
