Guardian Dogs Help Ranchers Protect Livestock
Ranchers have long used poisons to kill predators such as coyotes. But some also use guard dogs that are raised with sheep and instinctively protect them. A Wyoming woman supplies the guardian dogs to ranchers throughout the state.

Wading birds had mixed success nesting in the Everglades last year
Audubon Florida, a well-known environmental group dedicated to the conservation of birds and their habitats, published a report on the health and success of 43,680 wading bird nests last year from Fort Myers to Lake Okeechobee and south to Florida Bay at the southern tip of mainland South Florida.

Florida lawmakers will open the legislative session without COVID-19 restrictions
Legislative leaders are monitoring the spike in COVID-19 infections across Florida but haven’t made plans to reimpose restrictions on public access that were used during the last legislative session.
