Remembering Max Cleland, former Georgia senator and Vietnam veteran
Cleland was a decorated Army veteran who lost three limbs while serving in Vietnam. After the the war, he dedicated his life to public service. He died Nov. 9. Originally broadcast in 2009.

For Vietnam veteran Jim Hale, Iraq is almost like "watching a rerun" of Vietnam. Hale is one of more than 150,000 Vietnam vets suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder who have sought help from the VA since 2003.

Vietnam War Commander Westmoreland Dies at 91
Gen. William Westmoreland, who commanded American forces in Vietnam from 1964 to 1968, died Monday night in Charleston, S.C. He was 91. Pulitzer Prize-winning author Stanley Karnow talks about Westmoreland and his insistence that the United States "did not fulfill its commitment to South Vietnam."

Opposing Vietnam War, McCarthy Inspired a Movement
Former Sen. Eugene McCarthy died Saturday at the age of 89 at an assisted living residence in Washington, D,C. In 1968, the staunch opponent of the Vietnam War challenged President Lyndon Johnson for the Democratic presidential nomination, forcing LBJ from office and inspiring the antiwar movement.
