In Germany, A Car Pool That Actually Involves Water
A group of men in Germany tried to beat the summer heat by converting an open-top BMW into a pool — complete with tiki decorations and still drivable. The fun dried up when they passed a motorcycle cop. They pulled over, abandoned the vehicle and jumped into a nearby river. The investigation is still ongoing, but the police did say this car pool probably didn't have a road permit.

Thailand's Songkran Water Festival Tempered By Drought
Thailand and Southeast Asia celebrate their New Year this week. In Thailand, the holiday is called Songkran, which features the biggest water fight in the world that lasts-officially for three days. City Workers Help Ducks Walk To Water
Syracuse city worker Gary Clifford saw a mother duck leading a dozen little ones down a busy street. He followed in his truck, stopping traffic along the way. Until they walked across a storm drain and four ducklings fell in. Syracuse.com reports a city crew was called in and took the feathered family to a creek.
