Meals of Hope-helping to feed those in need one meal at a time
In an effort to help feed those in need this holiday season, the Meals of Hope organization will bring together an estimated 2,000 volunteers Saturday, to put together 420,000 packs of their ready to eat fortified pre-cooked oatmeal packs.

Many of manatee deaths have been attributed to starvation because of declining seagrass beds that are prime foraging areas, particularly in the Indian River Lagoon.

Meals brought by air set to help feed Sanibel Island residents
