Economy Shows Brisk Growth in First Quarter
The U.S. economy staged a comeback during the first three months of the year, according to new figures released by the Commerce Department. The agency reports the economy grew at an annual rate of 4.8 percent in the first quarter, more than twice as fast as in the previous quarter.

Amazon Scraps TV Show Focus Groups
Amazon asked subscribers of its video-streaming service to do the jobs usually left to focus groups and executives. The company released 14 pilot TV shows, then looked at customer reviews and view counts. Amazon announced five pilots have been approved for a full season.
