Micro forest projects in Sarasota aim to combat climate change
Florida House Institute and Sarasota Urban ReForesters are creating micro forests in the Sarasota region as an environmental strategy to combat climate change. When 4,000 trees and plants are planted on a small parcel of land, a micro forest is created. The goal of the project is to grow a 100-year forest in just 10 years

Tampa Bay Rays players' decision not to wear Pride jerseys stirs up fans

Early childhood education student is organizing the local March For Our Lives event this Saturday
Madison Franz, an advocate for gun reform and early childhood education student at Florida Gulf Coast University, is planning a march on Saturday, June 11 in downtown Fort Myers.
