Steve Carmody
Steve Carmody has been a reporter for Michigan Radio since 2005. Steve previously worked at public radio and television stations in Florida, Oklahoma and Kentucky, and also has extensive experience in commercial broadcasting. During his two and a half decades in broadcasting, Steve has won numerous awards, including accolades from the Associated Press and Radio and Television News Directors Association. Away from the broadcast booth, Steve is an avid reader and movie fanatic.
Inspiration For Marge Simpson Passes Away
Margaret Groening died last month at the age of 94. Her son Matt Groening created The Simpsons, which is now the longest-running scripted TV show ever.

Ashley Tressel
Ashley Tressel is a senior Communication and English student at Florida State University. Before WFSU, she interned at the Executive Office of the Governor, The Borgen Project, a national nonprofit for global poverty, wrote freelance for Carbonated.tv, a multimedia news service and served as managing editor for the FSU International Programs magazine, Nomadic Noles. After graduation, Ashley plans to embark on her journalism career somewhere in Colorado.
72nd Annual Golden Globes Handed Out In Beverly Hills
The Golden Globes were handed out on Sunday night. "Grand Budapest Hotel" won best motion picture comedy/drama, and "Boyhood" won best dramas. "Transparent" was named best comedy or musical TV series. And, "The Affair" won best TV drama.
