Gulfshore Playhouse Kicks Off Broadway Cabaret Performance Series

Gulfshore Playhouse in Naples will be transformed into a New York-style cabaret club for the month of February with a series of Broadway Cabaret performances featuring comedienne, singer and Ethel Merman enthusiast Klea Blackhurst; multi-award winning cabaret performer and actor Natalie Douglas; and Naples native and Broadway star Lora Lee Gayer!

Grammy and two-time Emmy winning director, composer and conductor John McDaniel will serve as Master of Ceremonies and pianist for all performances which from Feb. 11-28. McDaniel is perhaps most widely known for his role as producer, composer and band leader for all six seasons of the Rosie O’Donnell show on NBC.

We’ll get a sneak preview with Lora Lee Gayer, who performs Feb. 25-28) and John McDaniel ahead of Thursday’s opening performance, and learn about how these performers have been coping amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
