Members of the group Up with People are in Southwest Florida this week preparing for a performance Sunday at North Fort Myers High School. Up with People was launched in the mid 1960's and since then its ensemble of young singers and dancers has performed in 38 countries with a repertoire they say is focused on bridging cultural barriers.
