Florida’s 19th Congressional District Race

Voters will select a new representative in the primary contest later this month to fill Southwest Florida’s Congressional District 19 seat.  The district extends from Fort Myers to Marco Island and the seat is currently held by Rep. Curt Clawson, R-Bonita Springs, who is not seeking re-election.  Those vying for the seat include former Secret Service agent and small-business owner Dan Bongino, Sanibel Councilman Chauncey Goss and Naples businessman and former U.S. Ambassador to the Holy See Francis Rooney.  With no Democratic candidate in the race, GOP voters will decide the election in the Aug. 30 primary election.  Candidates Bongino and Goss join us in studio for a closer look at their qualifications, priorities and ideas.

Guests:

Dan Bongino, R-Naples, Florida 19th Congressional District 19 candidate

Chauncey Goss, R-Sanibel, Florida 19th Congressional District 19 candidate
