Stunning images of the elusive Florida panther were recently captured by Fort Myers News-Press photographer Andrew West. The images were the fruits of a summer-long project that placed a trail camera inside the Florida Panther Wildlife Refuge.

Tuesday at 1 p.m. on Gulf Coast Live, West discusses his photography around Southwest Florida, and recounts the panther-focused photography assignment he calls a "highlight" of his career.
