Affordable housing in Lee County and Hendry County is a growing need. However, funding for the Sadowski Housing Trust Fund remains in question in the state legislature, it hasn’t been fully funded since the recession that occured in 2008. On top of that, it’s possible this part of the state might not receive anything from that trust fund next year.
