As news circulates about COVID-19 and the new coronavirus that causes it the need for well-informed media literacy might be more important now than ever before, with everything from truly fake news to simply overhyped headlines flooding our online feeds.
We'll discuss media literacy during a global pandemic today with Florida Gulf Coast University journalism professor Lyn Millner, and Spring 2020 FGCU journalism graduate Kris Locker, was just awarded the 2020 Gwen Ifill Student of the Year Award by the News Literacy Project.
