Mitt Romney Fires Up Crowds in Sarasota

Mitt Romney revved up a crowd of several thousand people in the courtyard of the Ringling Museum in Sarasota. Romney made no mention of his previous comments that 47% of the country would vote for the president, no matter what. He instead attacked the president twice for "surrender" in the battle to improve the economy.

“The president today threw in the white flag of surrender again”, Romney said. “He said he can't change Washington from the inside. He can only change it from outside. Well, we're going to give him that chance in November. He's going outside.”

Romney was alluding to a statement Mr. Obama made earlier in the day in Miami.
