A South Florida rabbi organized a walk out Monday during Donald Trump's speech before the pro-Israel group the American Israel Public Affairs Committee in Washington DC.
The annual AIPAC meeting is a must stop for any presidential hopeful but Rabbi David Paskin of Temple Beth David in Palm Beach Gardens says the protest he organized was his duty.
"It is absolutely my responsibility to be a moral voice so that's what I'm doing and my congregation knows that i think, all Jews should want their rabbis and their religious leaders to stand up for what they believe is right because ultimately that is what we're here to do", Paskin said.Rabbi Paskin acknowledged that while some of his congregants agree with Trump's views, none have displayed any of the anger that has been seen at Trump's rallies.
"Every conversation I have had with people whether they agree or disagree has been respectful and dignified and loving and that's what we should demand from our leaders", said Paskin.
Today is the last day of the annual AIPAC meeting.
