Researchers, policy makers and students from across the nation will be in Sarasota next week for Mote Marine Laboratory and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission’s 7th annual Symposium on Harmful Algae Blooms in the U.S. We’ll take a closer look at the latest research and monitoring of Red Tide and other algal blooms that plague Florida waters; how they form and how they impact wildlife, the marine environment, the economy and human health.
