Governor Rick Scott remains an ardent supporter of fellow Republican Donald Trump. But the Republican considered most likely to succeed Scott, Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam, is much less enthusiastic.

Putnam told reporters after Tuesday’s Cabinet meeting he supports Trump, but he admitted he’s worried about the way Trump has angered Hispanic and other voters.
“I am concerned about his, uh, how he has positioned himself with some key voting blocs. But I’m also intrigued by the poll that one of you guys ran in your paper today that his it 43-42. So, interesting time we’re living in gentlemen and ladies.”
Putnam supported former Governor Jeb Bush but hitched his wagon to Senator Marco Rubio when Bush dropped out.
Now Putnam says he’s bound as a Republican to support his party’s presumptive nominee.
