NAACP Leaders Gather in Naples

NAACP

Civil Rights leaders from around the country are in Naples this weekend for the NAACP’s 9th Annual Leadership 500 Summit.   This year’s theme is “Leadership is Not a Title, It is an Action”.  That action extends to the conference site.   NAACP  Chairman  Roslyn Brock, a hospital executive from Maryland, hails from  Florida.

Roslyn Brock is the youngest person and  fourth women elected to Chair the NAACP – the nation’s oldest civil right organization.    The summit is being held  at  the Waldorf Astoria Naples.    It wraps up Sunday morning.
