Do Florida’s Tax Breaks Really Attract Businesses to the State?

A new study by the Florida Legislature’s Office of Economic and Demographic Research, or EDR, takes a close look at whether the state’s incentive programs designed to spur economic development are working.

Economic analyst Hank Fishkind tells WMFE’s Nicole Creston that the EDR report evaluates Florida programs that offer incentives like tax breaks and grants to lure more businesses into the state.
