Ryan in Florida

Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan asked a crowd of supporters in Northeast Florida nday, to do what they can for residents facing Hurricane Sandy. But Ryan also used the appearance to blast the Obama Administration.
Ryan was greeted by hundreds of supporters in Fernandina Beach, at what was to be his first appearance during a swing through Florida. But the campaign cancelled his other appearances because of the threat of Hurricane Sandy. Ryan told the crowd that as Floridians, they know better than most how a storm can devastate a community.

Ryan also used his appearance to tell the crowd that the country cannot afford four more years of the Obama Administration, and that the president has not done enough to spur job growth.

Meanwhile, GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney is scheduled to appear in Jacksonville on Wednesday evening, as the ticket continues to pursue Florida’s 29 electoral votes.
