Gov. Rick Scott is touring the state following his re-election last month.  He made a stop in Naples Tuesday night to talk about his priorities for his second term in office.

Jobs are still among his main priorities moving forward. That’s why Scott’s holding events he’s calling “jobs jamborees” in cities around the state this week.

In Naples, Scott held the event at Arthrex—a medical supply company. Before that he spent the day talking to Southwest Florida’s legislative delegation in private meetings. Scott said they talked about his agenda.

“We talked about making sure we have the highest per pupil funding for K-12 education, holding the line on college tuition, a billion dollars in tax cuts and just doing everything we can to make sure all of our companies can be more successful here than anywhere else in the world,” he said.

Scott said he’s also still going to recruit businesses to move to Florida.

The next stop for his Jobs Jamboree tour is in Tampa.
