The Latino vote has been heavily courted during this election cycle. Both gubernatorial candidates have run ads in Spanish, they took part in a Spanish-dubbed debate and have made rounds in heavily-Hispanic voting districts. Furthermore, both Republican Governor Rick Scott and Democratic gubernatorial candidate Charlie Christ chose Hispanic running mates. Is this election going to be decided by the Latino vote? Are all these efforts even swaying the Latino vote? We speak with national and local experts on the Latino vote ahead of next week’s election.
