Governor Rick Scott announced last month he’s seeking $8.5 million dollars in the coming state’s fiscal budget to help address a backlog of some 11,000 untested rape kits in Florida. We’ll hear from law enforcement officers and advocates for a closer look at what’s behind the backlog and why some rape tests get tested while others do not.
