A new report from the Florida Center for Nursing finds that there are currently more than 12,000 vacancies for nurse positions in Florida and that statewide, an estimated 10,000 new nursing positions will be created this year.  We’ll take a closer look at the report’s findings and what they mean for healthcare providers.  We’ll also explore how local hospitals address nursing shortages as well as the unique physical and emotional challenges of the nursing profession itself.

Guests:

Mary Lou Brunell, Executive Director of the Florida Center for Nursing
