  • State health officials reported 3,286 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus, Tuesday, bringing the statewide total to 103,503 cases. June 23 marked the fifth time in six days Florida's single-day increase in COVID-19 cases topped 3,000.The Florida Department of Health also reported 65 new coronavirus-related deaths, Tuesday, increasing the statewide death toll to 3,238 fatalities.
  • State health officials, Thursday, reported the largest single-day increase in cases of the coronavirus in Florida since the pandemic began. The 1,698 new cases reported yesterday brings the statewide total to 69,069 confirmed cases.With the exception of this past Monday, the single-day increase in COVID-19 cases in Florida has topped 1,000 every day since June 3.
  • State health officials reported 2,878 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 over the weekend, for a statewide total of 56,163 cases. The Florida Department of Health also reported 87 new coronavirus-related deaths over the weekend, bringing the statewide death toll to 2,451 fatalities.There have now been 1,022,265 COVID-19 tests performed in Florida since the start of the pandemic and overall, 5.5% of those tests have been positive for the virus.
