One of the major economic issues this year is what’s being called a “fiscal cliff.” It’s a possible collision of two large economic events that could come to a head late this year: the passage of the federal Budget Control Act and the expiration of the Bush era tax cuts.
Economic analyst Hank Fishkind says the collision of those fiscal events would disproportionately impact our economy in central Florida. He tells WMFE’s Tom Parkinson that it’s called a “fiscal cliff” for a good reason.
