Former U.S. Senator and Florida Gov. Bob Graham has spent his life building a legacy in politics. But, no event so defined the last period of his career as the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11.
Graham was chairman of the U.S. Senate Intelligence Committee and was one of the leaders of the Congressional inquiry into the attacks. Since then, Graham has spoken out about Saudi Arabia’s ties to 9/11.
He wants the government to disclose information to the public about the attacks that is still classified. That includes 28 pages of the Congressional inquiry. He said those pages show how the attacks were financed.
Graham visits Bonita Springs Friday to appear at a Speakers Assembly of Southwest Florida luncheon. He spoke with WGCU’s Topher Forhecz about what he’ll discuss at the event including 9/11 and last year’s terrorist attacks in Paris.
Former U.S. Senator and Florida Gov. Bob Graham will speak at the Speakers Assembly of Southwest Florida Friday, January 15 at 11 a.m. at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa.
