Immigrant Advocates Say Reduced Tuition Is No Free Ride

Truthout.org via Flickr

The Florida Senate will likely vote this week on whether to allow undocumented immigrants to receive in-state tuition at state colleges and universities.

In-state tuition is usually one-third the cost of out-of-state rates - a big problem for undocumented students trying to work their way through college.

But those students still won't have access to state scholarships or financial aid.
