“The Wolves” was created by Sarah DeLappe and is directed by FGCU’s Barry Cavin and is a coming-of-age story about young women who share the common goal of being the region's best high school soccer team. It is being presented at FGCU's TheatreLab through April 27.

This week, nine shows close, 12 continue their runs and there are two limited-run young actors' productions at equity and community theaters from Sarasota to Marco Island. As an added bonus, there are three performances of Frank Blocker’s “Good Jew” at the Norris Center in Naples.

“Radium Girls" tells the story of young women in Orange, New Jersey, who painted luminous watch dials, unknowingly poisoning themselves with each stroke of radium-based paint, and their battle to hold the company accountable for placing profits over people.

Three shows open, five productions close and 11 others continue their runs this week in Southwest Florida theaters.
